Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases
The Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases was established by order of the Fergana branch of the Tashkent Medical Academy No. 82 on August 18, 2020. The department is located in the 2nd academic building.

Clinical Epidemiology
Nursing care for infectious diseases
Pharmacology
Infectious diseases with childhood infectious diseases
Nursing supervision for quarantine and highly dangerous infectious diseases
The above subjects are taught to students of the faculties of Treatment work, Medical Prevention and Public Health, International joint educational program, Foreign Faculty.
The above subjects are taught to students of the faculties of General Medicine, Medical Prevention and Public Health, International Collaborative Education, Foreign Faculty.
In the 2020-2021 academic year, the department employs: 12 teachers, including 8 teachers working in key positions and 4 part-time teachers.
In the 2020-2021 academic year, 3 employees of the department (A. Hoshimova, F. Madaminov, O. Ashurova) are scientific applicants.

Mukhitdinova Shoira Bahramovna – Head of the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases.
She was born in 1970 in the Markhamat district of the Andijan region. In 1996 she graduated the Tashkent State Medical Institute №2. From 1996 to 1998 she worked as an assistant at the Department of Epidemiology, Microbiology and Infectious Diseases of the Medical Center of Fergana State University. Since 2016 she Head of the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases.
Sh.B. Mukhitdinova is the author of 54 scientific articles, 10 textbooks. She is currently conducting research on the Effect of Giardiasis on Specific Immunoprophylaxis.
Khoshimova Arofat Yermakhamatovna – Assistant of the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases.
She was born in 1977 in Fergana of the Fergana region. In January-February 2020, she was a fellow of the El-Yurt Umidi Foundation and completed an internship at the Department of Epidemiology of the Azerbaijan Medical University. He actively participates in the cooperation of the department with the Department of Epidemiology of the Azerbaijan Medical University. Today A. Khoshimova is the author of 40 scientific articles and abstracts. She is currently working on a scientific work on the theme “Microbiological characteristics and antibiotic resistance of the etiological factor of acute intestinal infections in the Fergana region.”
Madaminov Fakhriddin Akhmadovich – Assistant of the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases.
He was born in 1986 in the Fergana region . In 2007-2013 he studied at the Andijan State Medical Institute. From 2013 january to 2013 may he worked as a doctor in the Logan rural medical center of the Fergana region. During 2013 to 2016, he was a graduate student of the Andijan State Medical Institute.
Madaminov is the author of over 20 articles and abstracts. Currently, F. Madaminov is carrying out scientific work on the topic “Invasive mycosis associated with COVID-19 (aspergillosis and cryptococcosis) in the Fergana region.”
Sarimsakov Mukhammadzhalol Isakdzhonovich – Assistant of the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases.
He was born in 1966 in the city of Kuvasoy, in 1983-1984 he studied at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute, in 1986-1990 he graduated Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. Then from 1997 to 2009 he worked as a manager in many pharmacies. During 2009 – 2019, he headed the diversified private enterprise “Donish-Pharm”
In 2019, he worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Fundamental Medical Sciences of the Fergana Institute of Public Health, and since 2020 – as an assistant at the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases. M.I. Sarimsakov is the author of 7 articles and methodological developments. He is currently conducting research on the effect of an emulsion made from pine needles on inflammation.
Ashurova Oista Yuldashevna – Assistant of the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases.
She was born in 1971 in the Markhamat district of the Andijan region. In 1988-1993 she studied at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. In 1994-1995 she worked as a pharmacist at the Mumiyo pharmacy in the Markhamat district of the Andijan region. In 1995-1997 she worked as a pharmacist in the internal pharmacy of the Marxamat SB hospital. She worked as the head of Inter Farma Servis. Since October 2020, he has been working as an assistant at the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases of the Fergana Medical Institute of Public Health.
Yu. Ashurova is the author of more than 10 foreign publications. At present, he is conducting research and scientific work on the topic “Methods of advanced training for teachers of medical universities (on the example of advanced training)”.
Khasanbaeva Nafisa Abdullajonovna – Assistant of the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases.
In 1971 she was born in the Rishtan district of the Fergana region. In 1988 – 1993 she studied at the Tashkent Pharmaceutical Institute. In 1994-1997 she worked as a pharmacist in the internal pharmacy of the Fergana Regional Childrens’ Hospital, in 1997-2006 she worked as an analytical chemist in pharmacies in the city of Fergana, in 2006-2020 she was a teacher of pharmacology at the Fergana Medical College. Since September 2020, he has been working as an assistant at the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases of the Fergana Medical Institute of Public Health. N.A. Khasanbaeva is the author of 5 articles and abstracts. She is currently working on a research work on the “Effect of gel made from pine needles on the inflammatory process”.
Babadzhanova Khursanoy Melibayevna – Assistant of the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases.
She was born in 1973 in the city of Fergana, Fergana region. In 1990 – 1997 she studied at the Tashkent Pediatric Medical Institute. Since 1997 to 2003 she worked as a neonatologist in the Fergana regional maternity hospital, and during 2003 – 2005 years she worked as a teacher of pediatrics at the Namangan Medical College. In 2005-2009 she worked as a neonatologist in the Fergana Regional Perinatal Center, in 2011-2013 in the obstetric department – a neonatologist, in 2013-2021 in the Fergana branch of RBIUM – a pediatrician. Since 2021, he has been working as an assistant at the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases of the Fergana Medical Institute of Public Health. H. Babadjanova is the author of about 5 articles and abstracts.
Kadyrova Gulnoza Ravshanovna – Assistant of the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases.
She was born in 1983 in Fergana region. She was a student at ASMI from 2001 to 2008. 2009-2015 years worked as a general practitioner. During 2015-2016 years she was Head of the department of the polyclinic, 2016-2018. – Deputy Chief Physician. In 2018-2019 she graduated the Omsk City Medical Academy of the Russian Federation with a degree in surgery, and in April 2019 – a clinical residency at the Tashkent Medical Academy. From August to October 2020, she worked as a general practitioner at Family Polyclinic No. 14 of the Almazar District of Tashkent. Since October 23, 2020 he has been working as an assistant at the Department of Epidemiology and Infectious Diseases of the Fergana Medical Institute of Public Health.
